The Queensland Institute of Family Therapy was founded on the principle of providing accessible and exceptional quality training and development to those working in the helping profession.
Meet The Team
The Queensland Institute of Family Therapy was founded in January 2018 by Dr Leonie White and Dr Kate Owen.
Acknowledgment of Country
The Queensland Institute of Family Therapy has teaching locations on the lands of the Yugambeh People.
We are honoured to work on the ancestral lands of the Yugambeh People.
We acknowledge the First Australians as the traditional custodians of this continent, whose cultures are among the oldest living cultures in human history.
We pay our respects to their Elders past, present, and emerging, for they hold the memories, the traditions, the culture, and hopes of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples across the nation.
